The program aims to inspire children to believe that they can be the change makers and can bring about the desired change in their community. VIS is committed to create a safe, caring,respectful learning environment for all students. VIS students regularly conduct Anti -Tobacco drives in and around the school. Anti -Tobacco awareness day is celebrated every year in VIS by performing street plays in the neighbourhood. Various activities like Nukkad Natak, Slogan writing, essay writing, debate, women empowerment quiz and Poster making are also carried out to sensitise students.
VIS students virtually collaborated with the students of ZP School Pune to celebrate the World Environment Day and Anti-Tobacco Day. The collaboration aimed at spreading awareness through informative and enriching activities such as yoga classes, poster making, quiz and interactive workshops. Students of the Social Service group of VIS regularly visit PAHEL, the NGO. The aim is to be a mentor to the young talents and encourage them to read and write.
With the idea that ‘Sharing is Caring’, a book donation camp was initiated by the students of primary wing to collect story books and send them to a school in Assam for their school library..
