VIS takes several initiatives to help the underprivileged. Some of these are HELP-AGE INDIA COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVES- Our students visited AIIMS and enthusiastically undertook community service in association with HELPAGE India.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PERSONS- Students spent quality time with the elderly across different old age homes like Godhuli  in Dwarka. VIS was felicitated  by  Honorable former President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee for the extraordinary work done for older people.

UNNATI - SUPPORTING REHABILITATION OF DISABLE PEOPLE- Our students association with Unnati – A Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled People. Such interactions teach important life lessons, such as empathy, compassion and gratitude.


National Cricket TEAM FOR SPECIALLY ABLED VIS took upon itself the task  of coaching the players of the Indian Deaf Cricket Team by providing the school cricket pitch for practice. A special mention for the school coach Mr. Devdutt, who learnt sign language to mentor his players.  His efforts have borne fruit as the team has won the trophy at the Deaf International Cricket Council T-20 Champions’ Trophy held at Qatar in March 2022.
