To spread awareness and instil a sense of responsibility towards keeping one’s surroundings clean, students and teachers of VIS celebrate the Swachhta Pakhwada under the aegis of Department of Education, Delhi. The Clean and Green initiative aims to protect and care for the environment as well as sensitise the community to lead an environmentally conscious lifestyle. VIS students support the green Swachh Hawa for Swasth Bharat Campaign by regularly participating in the mini-marathon near India Gate to promote the Clean Air Campaign.
