‘SEJOUR LINGISTQUE’
RENDEZVOUS WITH THE FRENCH

Every year the French Language Department at VIS endeavours to provide international exposure to students. Students are taken to famous cities in France like Paris, Rouen and Lyon.During these visits, they are exposed to French language, culture and cuisine. The French teachers and students also visit our school as a part of this exchange programme with France.

‘Learning a language opens the door not only to a new language but also to a new culture.’

A delegation of V.I.S. students and teachers visit the Netherlands under the Dutch students’ Exchange programme. Dutch students and teachers also visit VIS. The exchange programme aims at strengthening ties across borders. Educational and cultural programmes are hosted

VIS STUDENTS VISIT NETHERLANDS

In January 2019, a group of eleven students and two teachers visited Netherlands. They stayed with the host families and had a wonderful time focusing on the amalgamation of flavors, colours and culture of both the countries.


VISIT BY DUTCH STUDENTS

The Dutch delegation in VIS. The visit includes visit to different wings of the school, participate in interactive class room sessions and also try their hand at cooking snacks. A visit to important monuments and historical sites was also undertaken.


INTER CONTINENT CONNECT
AUSTRALIA-INDIA BRIDGE SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME

Under the aegis of the Asia Education Foundation and the Government of Australia, VIS partnered with the School of Total Education, Warwick, Queensland. The exchange programme focuses on intercultural reflections, ICT skills and teacher training connections. Since its inception in 2015, this journey through the realm of learning continues.


VISTAS OF THE SOUTH KOREAN
EXPERIENCE

Students and teachers of VIS undertook the South Korea Experience Program under the aegis of Athena Ventures and Korean Cultural Centre India, Embassy of Republic of Korea. Our teachers and students interacted with Korean students at Huncheon Middle School. It was truly enriching to experience the Korean culture first hand!


A SOJOURN IN THE KINGDOM OF HAPPINESS
BHUTAN

Our students got an opportunity to experience the culture and the pristine environment of Bhutan. Visits to monasteries and cultural centres were truly a rich learning experience!


BRIDGING GAPS THROUGH LEARNING
CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME WITH CANADA

A group of VIS students and teachers visited Canada in 2016, as part of cultural exchange programme. The team visited Royal West Academy School and interacted with the students and teachers there. A group of Canadian students and teachers also visited VIS in 2016. Glimpses of the rich cultural heritage of India left a lasting impression on each of them.


MALAYSIA

The World Scholars Cup Global Semi Final Round took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2017. Three Junior division teams of VIS students participated in this event and won medals along with a lot of appreciation.


TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS AT YALE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, USA

The Tournament of Champions for World Scholars’ Cup Global round 2017, was held in Yale University, New Haven, USA. Eight students of VIS participated in the junior division of this event. They bagged 4 Gold medals and 13 silver medals.


UNITING MINDS THROUGH LEARNING SPECTACULAR SPAIN

The student exchange to Spain was a joyful cultural immersion, blending learning with exploration. Students interacted with peers in Spanish schools, visited historic Toledo, relaxed in Benidorm, and experienced Madrid's vibrant atmosphere. A highlight was the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium visit, making the program both educational and unforgettable.



CONNECTING MINDS THROUGH EDUCATION SPLENDID SINGAPORE

VIS students from classes VI-IX explored Singapore's vibrant landscape and technological advancements through visits to key galleries and attractions, including Sentosa Island and Universal Studios, making it an enriching and fun-filled educational trip.
