In the Soul Grand Chef Challenge 2024 held at the International Institute of Culinary Art, Yanya Arora (Class XI) and her mother, Ms. Shilpa Arora, represented Punjab by preparing the traditional cuisine Makki ki Roti and Saag and showcasing the state’s culture through costumes and handicrafts. Competing against 25 teams from Delhi/NCR, they secured the Runner-Up position in the Vegetarian Cooking category. Yanya received a trophy, a mug and complimentary meals at top Delhi five-star hotels.

Aimed at promoting innovative teaching through technology, VIS hosted the Annual Night-long Virtual Connect on December 17–18, 2024. As part of the Annual Global Learning Connection, 27 Class 11 students connected virtually with participants from Australia, the US, Ireland and Dubai. The sessions, held from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, covered topics like AI in Entrepreneurship, Cyber Security, Power of Visualization, Fossils of Wyoming, Data Science in Banks, and student life in Australia, offering students a unique global learning experience.

VIS partnered with BMW to revolutionize road safety education! 
Our young learners from Foundational Years, Classes 1 & 2 enjoyed a fun and interactive experience navigating toy vehicles on a mock road. This experiential learning experience empowered them to become responsible road users for a safer future.

In recognition of their dedication to fostering a greener and more sustainable future, VIS was honoured with 3rd position in the Green Circle competition on 7 December 2024, in association with Dwarka Express and CCRT Dwarka. Judged on environmental awareness and sustainable practices, the school’s eco-friendly initiatives and innovative approaches were highly praised. Competing with esteemed institutions, VIS received the prestigious Green Trophy, symbolising excellence in environmental sustainability.

Students of Classes 1 and 2 lit up the day in the traditional attire of Gujarat, South India, Haryana, and Kashmir. From the elegance of sarees to the charm of phirans, and the flair of dhotis and turbans, each outfit was a vibrant nod to our heritage. Their joy and pride truly brought India's cultural magic to life!

In the RL Chopra memorial quiz conducted at New Era Public school, Mayapuri, the quizzers of VIS won the second position.. They were awarded with the , individual trophies, merit certificates and cash awards of Rs 2100.

In the quiz competition titled Inquizzitive, conducted by TCS at IIT Delhi, Apratirath Shukla secured second place, outperforming over 1,000 students in the regional rounds. He was awarded a trophy, a cash voucher worth ₹10,000, and merit certificates. Apratirath will also represent the region in the national finals, which will be held in Mumbai.
