Students of Foundational Years bask in the blissful blessings of the Almighty.

In the SPARK Innovation Awards, hosted annually by KVRSS, Hyderabad, students are recognised for applying scientific concepts to solve everyday problems with novel ideas and technologies. This year, Sairaah Bhardwaj of Class X won first place in the Rasayanam category and ₹10,000 for her app, Blue Harbour, designed to manage negative feelings like low self-esteem and anxiety. In the Bhoutikam category, Ikat Singh Sethi (Class X), Aditaya Singh (Class VIII), and Prisha Ashok (Class X) received a consolation prize and ₹1,000 for their AI-based project, Garuda Patronus, which creates smart, safe, and sustainable vehicles.

Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal at VIS, transforming the school into a vibrant land of joy. The event featured a Dance-Drama enactment of Krishna's life, with pre-school kids dressed as Krishnas and Gopis, charming everyone. The primary foyer was lively with an assembly on the festival’s significance, presented by students, and concluded with an energetic dance performance and Krishna bhajan.

Our talented students have emerged as winners in an Inter School Dance Competition 'Ghungroo' held at DPS, Dwarka.
Kiara Panchal III BD & Saisha Sahay IV LD mesmerized the audience with their incredible performance, showcasing 'Tatkar'- an essential element of Kathak.

The Scientia Society of VIS took proactive steps to address the risk of vector-borne diseases during the monsoon months by educating students from Grades 1 to 12 about prevention methods through innovative approaches. Their campaign inspired collective action, highlighting the importance of cleanliness for health. स्वच्छ रहें स्वस्थ रहें!

In a heartwarming display of generosity and social responsibility, students of VIS came together to donate ration kits consisting of essential items like food grains,pulses and spices to (Homeless Care Foundation), a renowned organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities.

Akshaj Agarwal of class V RD and Reyansh Gangwani of VDD received accolades -Special Mention and Verbal Mention respectively at India's first Junior Leap Model United Nations Conference @ DIS Edge. On World Organ Donation Day, the Venky Yoda Club organised events to raise awareness about organ donation, including a poster-making competition and interactive sessions with students and staff. Core members actively dispelled myths and encouraged participation, culminating in a one-on-one session with the esteemed Principal, Dr Manisha Sharma.

In honour of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai's birth centenary, students from our school hosted a talk show detailing his life. Their hard work was evident in the intricate posters displayed during the event. A standout skit captivated the audience, and the day concluded with a quiz featuring insightful questions about India's space legacy.

On August 3, 2024, theater and dance students from classes IX to XII of our school achieved remarkable success in the THEATRON event held at DPS RK PURAM, competing against 50 schools. They secured the following positions:

- 2nd prize in Mime Act
- 3rd prize in Stage Play
- 2nd prize in Dance Drama

Monis Sharma, founder of Career Honors Company, led an inspiring Design Thinking workshop that sparked creativity among participants. The session featured a compelling case study on transforming MRI machines into child-friendly spaces, demonstrating the power of thoughtful design in reducing anxiety for young patients.

Students from classes VIII and IX delivered an impressive presentation on Mangal Pandey and the Revolt of 1857 at Carmel Convent School, Chanakyapuri, earning the award for Best Story among over 25 participating schools. Additionally, Ishaan Garg and Divmeh Kaur from class XI secured Second Place in the Shutterberg Photography Competition at the 'Iridescence Event' hosted by the same school. Congratulations to all for their remarkable achievements!

Our school team achieved remarkable success at a series of prestigious Inter-School competitions hosted by Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri. Suvigya Rana (XI) and Pratishtha Sharma (XI) secured first place in the Hindi debate, with Suvigya also winning the Best Speaker award. In the 'Kaun Banega Shiromani' team event, our team bagged the First position and the Best Performer award. Special congratulations to Kriday Gupta (IX) for the Best Performer award, and to Ariv Azad (IX), Aekansh Gupta (IX), Gaurisha Saxena (IX), and Radhika Pant (X) for their outstanding achievements.
In the English Turncoat debate at the same event, Swaraa Vijayvargiya of class IX secured third place.
