    VIS student wins@77th Delhi State Shooting Championship

    We are thrilled to announce that Aarav Chopra, a talented student of the school, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a prestigious Bronze Medal at the 77th Delhi State Shooting Championship in the 10 Meter Air Pistol team event!       Maths Exposition

      The ANANT Club of the school organised 'Maths Exposition' on 26 July 2024. Students from classes IX-X participated by displaying and explaining physical models based on mathematical concepts. The event included games and discussions about the models, enhancing problem-solving skills and fostering creativity.

        Pi Approximation Day

        The ANANT Club of the school celebrated Pi Approximation Day on 22 July 22 2024. The event included a talk on pi and a Math Quiz called 'Clash of Titans' for the students of classes XI-XII. Activities like making pi bracelets, skyliners, rangoli posters and pi derivation art pieces engaged students from classes VI-VIII, enhancing their understanding of this special day and the beauty of Mathematics.

          More than 600 sustainable warriors participated in a recently held workshop -Dogese(understanding the language of dogs) conducted by Peedus in the school premises.

            To empower our educators with the latest advancements and help them gain an insight into the rapidly evolving world of curriculum, pedagogy and technology, VIS hosted a workshop facilitated by expert Ms Shveta Kapur from Suraasa.teach. The session explored innovative teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance student engagement and personalised learning.

              VIS students win MahaBehes Debate competition

              We are thrilled to announce that three eloquent debaters– Anshika Raj, Atharv Tandon, and Ninaad Kapoor – have been crowned champions at the MahaBehes Debate competition. The prestigious national event, held on Sunday 14th July at Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka, saw them overcome 8 meticulous rounds of debate, winning every knockout against teams from over 75 schools and participants nationwide. Ninaad Kapoor also received individual recognition and  was ranked  Second Best Speaker overall. Congratulations to these talented debaters!

                  Empowering Students through Financial Literacy

                  On 11 July 2024, the Eco Com Club hosted a 'Financial Literacy' workshop for Class VIII students. It started with a quiz on basic financial terms like income and interest, sparking lively participation, followed by an informative session by Class XII students, aiming to empower their peers in financial planning. The workshop was a success, leaving students enlightened about finance.

                    Siaara Mittal makes VIS proud

                    Making and breaking records is our USP! Siaara Mittal of Class 1 Springdale added a golden feather to the school’s cap with her achievement. 
                    She has been awarded with a Gold Medal and a Certificate of Record for ' Hula Hooping around waist using three rings for the longest time- 9 minutes and 32 seconds'!

                      With this guiding principle, Venkateshwar International School welcomed its new Student Council for 2024-2025.
