The Christmas celebrations at VIS were filled with joy and festive fervour. Soulful carol singing set a cheerful tone for the day, followed by vibrant dances and a captivating skit portraying the story of Jesus’ birth. The celebration beautifully conveyed the timeless message of love, peace and kindness, leaving everyone inspired by the true essence of Christmas.

Aimed at promoting innovative teaching through technology, VIS hosted the Annual Night-long Virtual Connect on December 17–18, 2024. As part of the Annual Global Learning Connection, 27 Class 11 students connected virtually with participants from Australia, the US, Ireland and Dubai. The sessions, held from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, covered topics like AI in Entrepreneurship, Cyber Security, Power of Visualization, Fossils of Wyoming, Data Science in Banks, and student life in Australia, offering students a unique global learning experience.

VIS, proud patrons of the Indian Deaf Cricket Team, congratulates Mr. Devdutt( BCCI NCA Level A coach ), the coach of the Indian Deaf Cricket Team and the players for their remarkable 5-0 clean sweep victory against the Sri Lankan Deaf Team in the Bilateral One Day International Deaf Series 2024. Proud of our team for its historic win that crowns them as champions!

An engaging workshop on parenting and career orientation was conducted by Ms. Jyotsana Bharadwaj, Founder and Director of Envision India Eduservices. The session offered valuable insights into effective parenting strategies and provided practical guidance to support students in making well-informed career choices.

VIS partnered with BMW to revolutionize road safety education! 
Our young learners from Foundational Years, Classes 1 & 2 enjoyed a fun and interactive experience navigating toy vehicles on a mock road. This experiential learning experience empowered them to become responsible road users for a safer future.

In recognition of their dedication to fostering a greener and more sustainable future, VIS was honoured with 3rd position in the Green Circle competition on 7 December 2024, in association with Dwarka Express and CCRT Dwarka. Judged on environmental awareness and sustainable practices, the school’s eco-friendly initiatives and innovative approaches were highly praised. Competing with esteemed institutions, VIS received the prestigious Green Trophy, symbolising excellence in environmental sustainability.

Students of Classes 1 and 2 lit up the day in the traditional attire of Gujarat, South India, Haryana, and Kashmir. From the elegance of sarees to the charm of phirans, and the flair of dhotis and turbans, each outfit was a vibrant nod to our heritage. Their joy and pride truly brought India's cultural magic to life!

We are thrilled to announce our students' success at the MODEM 2024 Interschool Competition, hosted by Modern School, Vasant Vihar. Our team excelled in multiple events, winning several accolades:

VIS also secured the Rolling Trophy for the second consecutive year, highlighting our students' dedication to excellence.

In the quiz competition titled Inquizzitive, conducted by TCS at IIT Delhi, Apratirath Shukla secured second place, outperforming over 1,000 students in the regional rounds. He was awarded a trophy, a cash voucher worth ₹10,000, and merit certificates. Apratirath will also represent the region in the national finals, which will be held in Mumbai.
