There has been an explosion of interest in the last few years in health promotion or “wellness” programs.  Physical comforts are increasing day by day but on the contrary are increasing the levels of stress. Anxiety is part of human nature but it's important to know how to overcome it. Aiming to guide the students about stress, its symptoms, causes and simple self-help techniques to overcome them, a workshop was conducted on Stress Management on October 8, 2019 for class VIII and October 15, 2019 for class VII by Mathematics Department.

It was an interactive one hour session so that students got acquainted to identify stressful situations and could learn the art of handling them.  It was explained to students that they should always share their problems with others instead of keeping it in their own minds.

It helped the students to be aware about the stress, identify its sources and overcome by applying certain strategies which was the mantra of the workshop. The workshop concluded with a meditation session.
