A Gateway to Global Cultures
One of the cornerstones of our international collaborations is the French Language Exchange program. Each year, our French Language Department organizes trips to iconic cities such as Paris, Rouen, and Lyon. These visits provide students with an immersive experience in the French language, culture, and cuisine. The reciprocal nature of this exchange means that French teachers and students also visit V.I.S., nurturing cross-cultural understanding that enriches our community.

Dutch Student Exchange Program
Another highlight of our international collaborations is our partnership with schools in the Netherlands. In January 2019, eleven students and two teachers were sent to the Netherlands, where they stayed with host families and learned through various educational activities. These ranged from preparing traditional Dutch dishes with host families to visiting historical sites for the enrichment of both communities through a shared experience.
The Dutch students also visit V.I.S., where they engage in interactive classroom sessions. This exchange makes our students feel like global citizens, encouraging them to appreciate different cultures while honing their smart study techniques in preparation for exams.
Collaboration with Australia
With the support of the Asia Education Foundation and the Government of Australia, V.I.S. collaborates with the School of Total Education in Warwick, Queensland. This partnership focuses on intercultural reflections and ICT skills development, providing valuable learning experiences for both students and teachers since its inception in 2015.
Through this collaboration, our students engage in projects that enhance their technological proficiency while also developing a deeper understanding of Australian culture. This integration of technology-driven education ensures that our students are well-prepared for future challenges.
Korean Cultural Exchange
The South Korea Experience Programme offers V.I.S. students the opportunity to interact with their peers at Huncheon Middle School. The program was facilitated by Athena Ventures and the Korean Cultural Centre, India. It provides direct engagement with Korean culture.
Imagine participating in traditional Korean practices and learning a bit about history and values during that time. Such experiences help students expand their cultural awareness while developing flexibility, adaptability, and both personal and academic competencies.
Cultural Immersion in Bhutan
Our commitment to global education extends to Bhutan as well. Students from V.I.S. have had the opportunity to visit this beautiful country, experiencing its rich culture through visits to monasteries and cultural centers. These immersive experiences provide a deeper understanding of Bhutanese heritage and promote respect for diverse traditions.

Canadian Cultural Exchange
In 2016, V.I.S. hosted a culture exchange with Royal West Academy School in Canada. During this program, our students interacted with their counterparts in Canada, sharing insights into each other's cultures. This program fosters mutual respect and understanding—values that V.I.S. strongly upholds.
This collaboration enhances not only the academic learning of our students but also their acquisition of essential life skills, equipping them to succeed as well-informed global citizens prepared for future challenges.
Participation in Global Competitions
Our students have also proved themselves on international stages. They attended the World Scholars Cup Global Semi-Final Round in Kuala Lumpur (2017) and the Tournament of Champions at Yale University (2017). They achieved huge accolades at these competitions, which not only challenged them intellectually but also connected them with like-minded peers around the world.
These experiences reinforce our commitment to exam-oriented study plans and ensure that such students not only prepare academically but are also equipped with critical thinking skills that lead them to success in competitive environments.
Spanish Cultural Exchange
A cultural immersion program in Spain was a great experience with V.I.S. students visiting Spanish schools while exploring historical sites such as Toledo and Madrid. Among these was the visit to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, which always brought a touch of both learning and adventure.
Interacting with peers at Spanish schools enables our students to build lasting friendships while also gaining an appreciation for different cultures—an essential step toward becoming well-rounded individuals.
