    Triumph – The HOG presentation for classes III and II was on 8th Sept.’16 and 21st Sept.’16 respectively.  The students exhibited their creative talent through a plethora of well-coordinated activities that included play, mime to music, verbal dynamics and improvisations.  It was truly a triumph to see the students in the lime light and beaming with confidence on the stage.  In the end, Director Ma’am, Mrs. Mrinalini Kaura addressed the gathering and emphasized on accepting the students as they are and recognizing their potential.

      Teachers’ day was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in Venkateshwar International School.  Students showered their teachers with love on this occasion.  The teachers assembled in the auditorium and presented a variety programme with songs, dances and a play.  The participants represented all the different wings and departments.  There were enthralling performances by the teachers and all were refreshed by the program.  This was followed by a sumptuous lunch at Barbe Que Place in West Delhi organised by the school management.  The teachers had a fun filled day promising to continue with their noble professions with renewed vigour.

The students offered prayers, rocked the cradle of Lord Krishna and relished the holy Prasad.

            As part of the Australia India BRIDGE school partnership project, the students of VIS learnt an aboriginal dance form from Ms. Sharman dance teacher of School of Total Education, Warwick, Queensland.
            On 24th August 2016, the students of VIS performed the dance recital which was enjoyed by their friends in Australia through the medium of Skype.  It was a perfect example of cross boundary teaching learning programme.   Ananya Srikumar, Yashaswi Mehta, Rishika Uppal, Khushi and Mehak Laha, students of class VII participated in it with the help of the Dance teacher, Ms. Amarjeet.

              The Inter House Folk dance competition was held on 26th August, 2016 in the school auditorium.  There were five different international folk dances namely Tarantella, Gum Boot, Kalinka, Flamenco and Irish which were brilliantly show cased by our  students of classes VI-VIII.
